The PS 1 is a power bank and charger that can be used with multiple devices. Part of the AS System, it uses the AS 2 battery* to charge other devices such as mobile phones, tablets or heated clothing whilst you’re on the move. It can also be used to charge an AS 2 battery via a USB-C cable** when away from a mains connection.
The PS 1 has three connection options:
- USB-C for charging or discharging
- USB-A for discharging only
- 12 volt DC for heated clothing
The main button on the PS 1 switches between charging / discharging modes and a clear battery charge level indicator shows the status of the AS 2 battery. A metal belt hook lets you secure the PS 1 to your belt for hands-free transportation. The port cover protects the connection points from dust and splashed water. Plus, there is a 2-step LED torch for illuminating small work areas.
PS 1 usage examples:
- AS 2 battery (80/100%) – charges in 60/80 minutes
- Smartphone (1,800 mAH) – charge device battery x2.
5 times with 1x AS 2 battery - Tablet (8,000 mAH) – charge device battery x0.
5 times with 1x AS 2 battery - Heated clothing (10 W) – up to 2 hours charging time
- Using PS 1 torch – up to 20 hours working time

At the push of a button, the LED charge-level indicator will inform you at any time about your battery’s remaining capacity. This allows you to efficiently plan working hours and charge the battery in good time.
The integrated, 2-level switchable LED light provides a clearer view in the dark with a light output of up to 100 lumens. It is also suitable for illuminating smaller, hard-to-see work areas on site and while on the go.
Thanks to the practical metal hook, the device can be easily and conveniently attached to a belt, for example. This means it is always within easy reach and safely stored during transport.

STIHL offer a 1 year professional warranty or 2 year domestic warranty with all of their machines.
The following exceptions apply:
- AK System, AS System and AI Line cordless products aren't covered under warranty when used by professionals
- AP System machines, batteries and chargers - 2 year professional warranty
- Pressure washers - 2 year professional warranty or 3 year domestic warranty
- Mowers, tillers, shredders, scarifiers & iMOW machines
