STIHL ErgoStart saves you energy when starting your power tools. A smooth and even pull on the starter cord is all that’s needed. The required speed on the starter cord is significantly reduced, and the engine starts quickly and reliably even with a slow pull. An additional spring between the crankshaft and the starter cord roll makes this easier.

Thanks to the single-handed multi-function handle, you can control your power tool easily and reliably with one hand. Because all relevant control elements are integrated in the handle, it can be operated by both right-handed and left-handed users.

With STIHL ElectroStart, your power tool can be restarted quickly and easily after a work break, without you having to take it off your back. The engine restarts at the press of a button. The lithium-ion battery required for starting is automatically charged while in operation. This means that your power tool is always ready for use.

You can easily shorten the blower tube at the push of a button, for example for use in restricted spaces. The blower lance can be extended again just as easily.

Thanks to tool-free handle position adjustment, you can easily adapt the handle on the blower tube to the user’s height, enabling ergonomic, effortless work.

With the STIHL 2-MIX engine, you can reduce exhaust emissions and fuel consumption, and therefore operating costs. This 2-stroke engine is low-maintenance and uses fuel efficiently even at high power levels. Use a mixture of petrol and engine oil as fuel. The STIHL 2-MIX engine complies with the strict EU Stage V emissions directive.

Vibrations can occur when you put your power tools through their paces, and these are particularly noticeable in the grip area. The buffer and spring elements of the STIHL anti-vibration system reduce the transmission of vibrations to the handle area and therefore to your body. The result is that your power tool is more comfortable to hold and your work is much less tiring.
