The BGA 300 is a battery-powered backpack blower from STIHL, designed for professional applications in noise-sensitive areas. Ideal for efficient cleaning of large areas, even with wet and heavy leaves, the BGA 300 has petrol performance blowing force on a cordless leaf blower.
With a reduced volume output which ensures a comfortable sound level that never exceeds 94 dB(A), the BGA 300 uses an innovative technology that significantly reduces the high pitched frequency that is usually associated with cordless blowers. It means it’s much more pleasant to use the BGA 300 in more densely populated areas, as bystanders in a 360° radius around the blower will be impacted less by the noise (however, ear protection is still required for the operator).
The BGA 300 has optimal energy management thanks to variable adjustment of the blowing power via four pre-defined power levels (Level 1-3/Boost) on the control handle. Boost mode is designed for when you need extra blowing power. Plus, the LED display on the trigger handle shows you which mode you are on so you can control your energy management.
You can adjust the blower tube length on the BGA 300 quickly and efficiently with the quick-release connector. This means you can adapt the tube length to the type of area you are cleaning. Padded shoulder straps and a hip belt means the BGA 300 is comfortable to wear over long periods of use and easy to adjust. A mounting point for the STIHL 2 A Smart Connector located on the power tool housing. Also available separately is the STIHL adjustable round nozzle – it’s a 2-in-1 accessory that increases the maximum air volume or maximum air speed of your tool to help remove leaves, lawn clippings and hedge trimmings.
The BGA 300 can be used with an AR L backpack battery, or the ADA 1000 battery slot adapter. For the longest working times, we recommend using an AR L backpack battery. For a lower weight, we recommend the ADA 1000 which uses 2x AP System batteries.
AR L backpack battery and ADA 1000 are not included in scope of delivery.

- AR 2000 L = 97 mins – 48 mins
- AR 3000 L = 140 mins – 61 mins

You can lock the throttle at any preferred position, even between levels. This relieves the strain on your index finger during longer periods of continual use.
This high-quality, ergonomic carrying system offers a high level of comfort as you work. Its S-shaped shoulder straps and hip belt ensure a comfortable fit, improve weight distribution, and in this way support you during long periods of use in particular.
The practical retainer lets you easily and securely attach the blower pipe directly to the blower so that you can effortlessly and easily transport it, without the blower pipe getting in the way.
The length of the blower tube can be adjusted on an infinitely variable basis, for example for use in narrow work areas or corners. The blower lance can be extended again just as easily. You can open and close the fastening of the blower tube by turning the ring.
The innovative technology significantly reduces the volume (sound power level) for residents and passers-by. At the same time, disruptive frequencies are minimised to create a pleasant sound pattern. Sound emissions are reduced at the high-performance turbine input in such a way that the leaf blower sounds equally quiet to nearby people on all four sides.
Depending on requirements, the blowing force can be flexibly set to 4 output levels including boost mode. The selected level is indicated by illuminated LEDs or directly on the electronic interface. Boost mode activates maximum leaf blower power while the trigger button is held down and without any change of hand or finger position, regardless of the preselected power level. You can optimise the battery runtime by selecting the appropriate power level.
Thanks to tool-free handle position adjustment, you can easily adapt the handle on the blower tube to the user’s height, enabling ergonomic, effortless work.
You can mount a Smart Connector 2 A in the housing of the power tool at the dedicated position. Once installed, this connects to the control unit and transmits valuable power tool data to your smartphone, tablet or the STIHL connected Box that is within range. You can use the STIHL connected App and the STIHL connected Portal to view the STIHL connected gathered data and benefit from additional functions.

STIHL offer a 1 year professional warranty or 2 year domestic warranty with all of their machines.
The following exceptions apply:

- AP System machines, batteries and chargers - 2 year professional warranty
- Pressure washers - 2 year professional warranty or 3 year domestic warranty
