The large, noise-insulated feed chute makes it easier to fill your STIHL shredder. It also reduces work noise when shredding in the garden. The integrated splash guard shields you from any swirled-up pieces of shredded material.
The safety lock is integrated into the opening mechanism of the garden shredder. As soon as you open the closing screws of the power tool, the safety switch is activated and the power flow is interrupted. This prevents the power tool from starting unintentionally during maintenance work or blade changeover, for example.
