The Chainsaw PPE starter kit contains the basic personal protective equipment that is needed when working with a chainsaw. This entry level kit is ideal for users looking to take on jobs in their home garden, such as processing firewood or light pruning jobs.
Included in the starter kit:
- FUNCTION Slim safety glasses – clear
- FUNCTION SensoTouch gloves – size L
- TIMBERSPORTS Edition® ear protectors
- Adjustable chaps for a variety of leg sizes. Front leg protection, 95 cm leg length, cut protection class: 1, design B.
Not included in the starter kit:
- Face visor
- Helmet

STIHL offer a 1 year professional warranty or 2 year domestic warranty with all of their machines.
The following exceptions apply:
- AK System, AS System and AI Line cordless products aren't covered under warranty when used by professionals
- AP System machines, batteries and chargers - 2 year professional warranty
- Pressure washers - 2 year professional warranty or 3 year domestic warranty
- Mowers, tillers, shredders, scarifiers & iMOW machines
