New for 2009, the Simplicity Regent XL 16.5/38 Side-Discharge Lawn Tractor offers the renowned Simplicity performance in a small package, ideally suited to those with gardens that are a little too small for a larger, more powerful machine. As with all Simplicity Regent Tractors the transmission is hydrostatic giving the operator complete control over any terrain; a 5-step cruise control is a standard feature on the Simplicity Regent XL 16.5/38 Side-Discharge Lawn Tractor meaning that a precise, even cut is possible on longer stretches of lawn. A single cylinder Briggs and Stratton 16.5hp OHV Intek petrol engine with full pressure oil lubrication supplies the smooth power necessary to turn the twin-blades of the 38", frame-mounted side-discharge mowing deck which is also capable of accepting a 230 litre twin-bag collection system or mulch plug for the drier months. Excellent traction and a tight turning radius of 31cm makes trimming up to border edges, fences and obstacles no problem and comfortable controls in combination with a high back seat ensure the Simplicity Regent XL 16.5/38 Side-Discharge Lawn tractor is a joy to use. A cast iron front axle and all steel bodywork ensure durability whilst the 13.2 litre fuel tank will keep you mowing longer between stops; a large 13cm muffler guarantees quiet operation.
